The fat used in the making of this tallow soap is locally sourced and then gently rendered in small batches. After undergoing a water purification-step, the tallow is then lovingly crafted into small batch cold process soap and cured for a minimum of six weeks. Made with 5% superfat, these bars of soap are very rich and creamy, producing a mild lather. Intentionally left fragrance free for sensitive skin and noses.
Unlike most plant oils, beef tallow is free of salicylates, which can be aggravating for those with sensitive skin, and closely resembles the fats found within our own epidermis. Rich in fat soluble vitamins, this fragrance free and nourishing soap is suitable for the face and body of all skin types including dry, sensitive & eczema prone skin.
Due to the handmade nature of the product, each rustic bar contains its own unique set of imperfections and may vary slightly in size and shape. In order to increase the life of your bar of tallow soap, it is recommended that you keep the bar dry in-between uses.
